Marketing and Communications for Careers Education
Here at Assembly, we are passionate about helping organisations prepare young people for successful futures. We work closely with Trusts, local authorities and partner organisations to develop engaging Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) resources that inspire students and support meaningful career pathways.
Virtual Work Experience
We have worked closely with the West Yorkshire Combined Authority (WYCA) to deliver engaging and meaningful virtual work experience opportunities for young people during Covid restrictions. Together, we've developed Virtual Work Experience (VWX) packs across four sectors: Construction, Manufacturing & Engineering, Creative & Digital, and HealthTech.
Working collaboratively, we connected with local employers to produce films showcasing the wide range of careers available within each sector, particularly those that young people may be less familiar with. Alongside these films, we created interactive activity resources, providing curriculum-linked tasks based on careers within each industry.
Next Steps Toolkit
Alongside the Virtual Work Experience programme, we've worked to develop the Next Steps Toolkit, a collection of practical careers education resources designed to support young people as they prepare for employment and further education.
The toolkit includes worksheets covering employability skills, CV and cover letter writing, interview techniques and career planning, helping students build confidence as they consider their next steps.
As part of the project, we also captured films featuring inspiring individuals from local organisations who have overcome barriers to employment. These stories showcase the many different routes into work while encouraging young people to recognise the opportunities available to them.
National Careers Week
We've been proud to work with National Careers Week (NCW) for several years, helping to promote and celebrate outstanding careers education across the UK.
Working alongside NCW, we've developed campaigns and resources that support schools in delivering high-quality Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) while helping them meet the Gatsby Benchmarks.
As a branding, marketing and communications agency, we also support NCW across its social media channels, creating engaging digital campaigns that increase awareness, encourage participation and promote careers education resources.
Supporting the Future Through Careers Education
As a branding and marketing consultancy with extensive experience supporting education organisations, we understand the importance of making careers education engaging, accessible and relevant.
We are continually developing new ideas, resources and campaigns to help our partners deliver outstanding careers education and prepare young people for the future.
Whether we're creating virtual work experience, employability resources, communications campaigns or careers education materials, our goal remains the same: helping education organisations make a lasting difference to the lives of young people.
